Who Am I?

Hey y’all! My name is Elizabeth.  I love my Lord and use my life to worship and glorify Him.  I am an IMPACT certified volleyball coach who owns her own coaching business. I also coach volleyball at a local YMCA.  I LOVE our team! When I am not playing or coaching volleyball, I am usually running or at the gym.

I am part of the Women’s Running Community (www.womensrunningcommunity.com/https://www.facebook.com/groups/WomensRunningClub/), and enjoy interacting with other women runner’s from around the world!

OCR – Obstacle Course Racing.  Two and a half years ago I completed my first course, and that one race was enough to hook me!

Gummi bears in rocky road ice cream is what I would eat every day if I knew it was healthy.
Since it is not healthy, I usually stick with the regular jasmine rice, veggies and chicken breast.

Dresses and gym attire take up my closet and dresser drawers.

I am second to my Lord.

  6. I like the way you write. How is coaching when you have to coach yourself in Obstacle Course racing? What is the Obstacle Course racing you did? that seems interesting as I work on my body again. I do love getting around & have started to get better at moving. I know God & Jesus my Lord are helping in every way possible. I do plan on working out soon to become better as my body will be less painful & more fit for such courses. I keep God & Jesus in front of me while making this all happen. I do appreciate you checking out my blog & post of An Adventure While Exercising Increasing Good Health. It means so much to me to know that there are people who will find me as I learn how to become a sports playing or running person again. Am simply amazed at what I can do as I learn & work on myself more & more.

    • Hello Rodney, thanks for commenting and reading my blog! I completed a local mud run/obstacle course similar to Warrior Dash (there may be videos on Youtube). I train by running 5 days out of the week, and four days out of the week I will weight train. I suppose I don’t necessarily have to train so much, but I would rather train hard and enjoy the obstacle course rather than the other way around!

When you start working out again, take it slow. Baby steps are always key – build that foundation! I will definitely keep you in prayer, that the Lord provide you with strength and perseverance.

      See you around!

  8. Hey Elizabeth!
1 more time! I wanted to ask you about a post title I saw. What do you think of this title that I saw on someone else’s blog? It is called Why You Shouldn’t Follow Jesus. I told the guy that he was totally off the wall & contradicted himself for his title & the post. Am I wrong in doing that because I thought his title was totally backwards for what he says he is which is following God?

  9. Haven’t seen any posts from you in a while, just checking to see if you’re still around! Hope the weather hasn’t been too cold in your neck of the woods!

    • Hi there! I have had a hectic couple of months, but I am back and plan on posting again! The weather has been cold, warm, cold, warm… it is extremely fickle. I hope you have been well! It is great to hear from ya 🙂

  10. Hi there, I’m Judy! I have a question and would love to speak with you more. Please email me when you get a chance, thank you!
